Clearview Builders, Inc. was formed in 1998 by David and Corby Schmidt. David's previous experience in construction was as a Plumbing Contractor for many years in California and Oregon, plumbing mainly high-end new construction. David and Corby have owned and operated their own successful plumbing company, David Schmidt Plumbing, since 1996. Corby has over 20 years experience in accounting, personnel, and office management. In 2003, son Alex Quinn began working for Clearview as project manager. David, Corby, and Alex are also licensed realtors working with Bend River Realty.

Clearview Builders, Inc. has enjoyed much success in the last six years, building over 20 homes in the City of Bend. During the 2001 Tour of Homes, Clearview Builders won five awards, including, Best Kitchen, Best Interior Design, and Best of Show. We build mainly in the upper end markets, $800,000- $2,200,000, and specialize in view and golf course homes. We customize our homes for each individual lot, maximizing all view potential.

We maintain excellent relationships with our subcontractors and suppliers, and have done business with the same subcontractors for years. We feel these long-term relationships contribute greatly to our success, especially in the areas of cost, scheduling, and quality control
